In my current role as a Junior Auditor at Vaugirard Conseil & Audit, I execute substantive testing and analytical procedures across balance sheet and income statement accounts for mid-sized corporate clients. My responsibilities include evaluating accounts receivable and payable reconciliations, auditing source documentation, and reviewing client inventory count procedures on-site to reconcile physical variances against general ledger balances. Furthermore, I assist senior audit managers in drafting audit summary memorandums and management letter recommendations under both French GAAP and IFRS frameworks.
Prior to this, as an Audit and Accounting Intern at Montparnasse Expertise Comptable, I supported monthly closing entries, conducted bank reconciliations, and audited fixed asset depreciation schedules for SME clients. These practical assignments, alongside the preparation required to earn my ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business, have strengthened my ability to maintain organized workpaper files, analyze reporting discrepancies, and assess internal controls systematically.
