Junior Paralegal | Litigation Support & Legal Research
Forde & Ahern Solicitors
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Paralegal position within the commercial dispute resolution team at Forde & Ahern Solicitors. With a Bachelor of Civil Law from University College Dublin and practical experience supporting solicitors in Irish civil litigation, I am eager to provide rigorous procedural support, bundle preparation, and case file administration to your practice.
In my current role as a Junior Paralegal at Kearney & Vance Solicitors, I support solicitors and instructing counsel across commercial dispute matters. My day-to-day work includes drafting standard correspondence, affidavits, and briefing bundles, as well as organizing and indexing trial notebooks, motion books, and statutory books for High Court and Circuit Court hearings. Additionally, I review and redact sensitive commercial documentation for pre-trial discovery using Rel One, ensuring adherence to meticulous audit logs and disclosure timelines.
Previously, as a Legal Assistant at Barrow Legal Support Services, I managed electronic and physical case filings for a team of four solicitors handling property transactions and debt recovery. In that role, I prepared core bundles, carried out land registry searches under solicitor supervision, and conducted case law precedent research using Westlaw IE and Justis for civil motion applications. To further develop my technical capabilities, I also earned the Certificate in eDiscovery and Litigation Technology from the Law Society of Ireland, which reinforced my working knowledge of digital litigation workflows.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my litigation support experience and attention to procedural detail can contribute to the continued work of Forde & Ahern Solicitors. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Siobhán Keogh
