Choose the right option
When Jobaria is ready to apply tailoring changes, it can offer two paths:
- Tailor this resume changes the selected version.
- Duplicate and tailor creates a copy and applies the workflow to that copy.
Use a duplicate for most applications. It preserves a stable base, makes comparisons easier, and prevents requirements from one job leaking into another application.
Create a clear versioning system
- Give the base resume a recognizable name and lock it when it is stable.
- Choose Duplicate and tailor for a new job.
- Rename the targeted version with the role and employer.
- Review and export it from Tailored Resumes.
- Keep only versions that remain useful, and delete obsolete copies deliberately.
Expected result
Your base resume remains reusable while each important application has a clearly named targeted version and its own job context.
Troubleshooting
- A locked resume cannot be tailored in place; duplicate it or intentionally unlock it.
- If Jobaria reports existing versions for the same job, open them before creating another duplicate.
- If you changed the wrong version, stop and compare it with the base before accepting more edits.
