Open the action menu on a resume card to rename, duplicate, lock or unlock, change visibility, download, or delete it. Duplicate important base resumes before major targeting changes, and treat deletion as permanent.

Find the resume actions

Open Resume Builder → Resumes. Each resume card includes direct actions and a More menu.

Organize and protect versions

  1. Select the title or Rename to give the resume a descriptive name.
  2. Choose Duplicate before making changes for a different role or market.
  3. Choose Lock to protect a base version from direct tailoring changes.
  4. Choose Unlock when you intentionally want to edit or tailor that version in place.
  5. Use the visibility action only after deciding whether the resume should be private or available through supported public presentation features.

Names such as “Base Product Resume” and “Senior PM — Example Company” make the purpose of each version clear.

Download or delete

Select Download PDF to save the current document. To remove it, choose Delete, read the confirmation, and confirm only when you no longer need the resume or its content.

Expected result

Your Resumes area contains clearly named versions, and locked base documents are protected from accidental in-place tailoring.

Troubleshooting

  • If a title change does not appear immediately, wait for the save to finish and refresh the list.
  • If tailoring says a resume is locked, duplicate it or intentionally unlock it.
  • If deletion is unavailable while another operation is running, wait for that operation to finish before trying again.
