Read the overall score

The overall score combines technical and content checks into one summary. Use it to identify direction and compare meaningful revisions, not as an absolute grade of your career experience.

Understand the five dimensions

• Impact evaluates action-oriented language and evidence such as quantifiable achievements.
• Brevity considers redundancy, bullet length, spelling, grammar, and clarity.
• Structure checks whether important information and sections are organized coherently.
• ATS compliance looks at factors that can affect parsing, keywords, file format, and machine readability.
• Presentation considers hierarchy, consistency, and visual clarity.

Use findings and suggestions

1. Open the lowest or most relevant category.
2. Read the individual check rather than reacting only to its percentage.
3. Compare each finding with the target role and your real experience.
4. Apply only suggestions that remain accurate and specific.
5. Re-run the review after a meaningful set of changes, not after every word.

Expected result

You should leave the report with a prioritized editing list: factual gaps first, then clarity and relevance, and finally visual refinements.

Troubleshooting

• A lower score is not always a reason to remove valuable context; use judgment for senior, academic, or specialized resumes.
• Keyword feedback should never lead to false claims or unnatural repetition.
• If the report appears inconsistent with the document, verify that the correct resume version was analyzed.
