Before you start
Copy the complete LinkedIn profile URL, usually beginning with linkedin.com/in/. Only import your own profile or a profile you are authorized to use.
Import the profile
- Open Resume Builder → Resumes and select Create Resume.
- Choose Create with LinkedIn profile.
- Paste the full LinkedIn profile URL.
- Start the import and keep the dialog open while progress is shown.
- When the resume opens, verify personal details, positions, employers, dates, education, skills, and links.
- Add information that was not available from the profile.
Expected result
Jobaria creates a new resume populated with the profile information it could retrieve. You can edit it like any other Jobaria resume.
Troubleshooting
- If the URL is rejected, copy it directly from the profile and remove unrelated query parameters.
- If the import cannot retrieve the profile, review LinkedIn visibility and try again later, or use PDF import.
- If a position is grouped incorrectly, correct its employer, role, and dates in the Experience section.
- Review all imported data; source profiles and automated mapping can contain omissions.
