Before you start

Use the direct URL of an active job posting rather than a search-results page. Keep the posting open so you can verify the title, employer, requirements, and responsibilities after retrieval.

Use the posting URL

  1. Open the tailoring dialog from Tailored Resumes or a resume card.
  2. Select an eligible base resume.
  3. Select Job URL.
  4. Paste the complete posting URL.
  5. Select Start tailoring.
  6. Wait while Jobaria prepares the available details; this can take up to a minute.
  7. Compare the prepared role context with the original posting.
  8. Continue to the assistant and review every proposed resume change.

Expected result

When the page is retrievable, Jobaria uses its available role information to start a targeted resume workflow and associates the result with the job.

Troubleshooting

  • If retrieval fails, use the pasted job-description workflow.
  • Remove tracking parameters if the copied URL does not point directly to the posting.
  • Private, expired, region-restricted, or login-protected pages may not be retrievable.
  • Always compare prepared details with the original posting before accepting changes.
