As a Certified Practising Accountant with experience across commercial accounting and advisory practice in Sydney, I bring technical proficiency in financial reporting under AASB standards, general ledger maintenance, and statutory tax lodgements.
In my current position as Financial Accountant at Harbourview Commercial Services, I prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals across two operating entities in line with AASB frameworks. My responsibilities also include compiling quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS), reconciling payroll tax obligations prior to Australian Taxation Office lodgement, and delivering monthly operational expense variance reports to divisional management. In addition, I assist in producing year-end statutory financial statements and assembling audit workpapers for external reviewers.
Previously, during my time as a Graduate Accountant at Kestrel Advisory Partners, I managed accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily bank reconciliations for a portfolio of thirty SME clients using Xero and MYOB. I also drafted income tax schedules under senior supervision and processed payroll and superannuation clearing house disbursements using Single Touch Payroll. This advisory foundation, coupled with my commercial experience, allows me to contribute dependable financial accounting support to Marlowe Resources Group.
