I am writing to express my interest in the Investment Banker position at Corrib Merchant Partners. With extensive experience advising Irish mid-market companies on mergers, acquisitions, and debt capital raises, I have managed corporate finance advisory processes from initial transaction structuring through to final execution. Corrib Merchant Partners' focus on guiding regional business owners through complex M&A transactions and capital restructuring closely matches my execution background and advisory approach.
In my current role as Associate Director, Corporate Finance at Lee Financial Advisory Partners, I lead financial due diligence and transaction structuring for Irish mid-market buy-side and sell-side mandates valued between 15M EUR and 75M EUR. This work entails constructing discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and trading comparable models, as well as coordinating transaction workflows across legal counsel, accounting diligence providers, and debt financing syndicates. Recently, I advised the founders of a Munster-based logistics provider on a 38M EUR majority sale to a European strategic buyer, coordinating competitive bids from seven parties and managing diligence across tax, legal, and operational workstreams to maintain deal momentum.
Earlier in my career at Bandon River Capital and Shandon Commercial Advisory, I originated advisory assignments through market screening and managed financial projections and covenant analysis for mid-market transactions. In addition, I structured the dynamic debt-capacity model that facilitated a 22M EUR senior secured debt package for an engineering group, presenting repayment profiles and covenant headroom directly to participating institutional lenders. Supported by my MSc in Finance & Capital Markets from University College Cork and my CFA designation, I bring rigorous analytical capabilities and disciplined deal management to transaction execution.
