Complexe Nautique Atlantique-Loisirs

Dear Hiring Team,

I am writing to express my strong interest in the Lifeguard position at Complexe Nautique Atlantique-Loisirs. With an established background overseeing surveillance across multi-basin facilities and coordinating emergency preparedness, I welcome the opportunity to contribute to your team's commitment to rigorous patron safety and operational vigilance.

In my current role as Head Lifeguard at Centre Aquatique Val-d'Erdre, I supervise an eight-member team of lifeguards across Olympic, leisure, and outdoor fitness pools, managing daily surveillance rotations and shift scheduling. In addition to reviewing automated chlorine and pH readings twice daily to satisfy regional health authority standards, I maintain and update the facility Plan d'Organisation de la Surveillance et des Secours (POSS) and lead biweekly emergency response refresher drills covering spinal injury extraction, oxygen therapy, and automated external defibrillator usage.

Previously, at Complexe Nautique des Deux-Rives, I provided active surveillance for up to 600 concurrent visitors during peak public swim and school sessions. My daily duties also included calibrating filtration dosing systems, conducting manual water testing prior to facility opening, and administering first aid according to regional safety protocols. This practical experience across varied bather volumes and technical water monitoring allows me to uphold strict preventative standards from day one.

I look forward to discussing how my surveillance discipline, safety protocol knowledge, and practical facility maintenance experience align with the aquatic safety goals of Complexe Nautique Atlantique-Loisirs. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Lucas Moreau
