Declan Gallagher
Senior Marketing Analyst
Merrion Commercial Group
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Marketing Analyst position at Merrion Commercial Group. With an extensive background in campaign attribution, commercial performance reporting, and experimental testing across Irish retail and digital environments, I welcome the opportunity to contribute to your analytics team and support data-informed marketing decisions.
In my current role as Senior Marketing Analyst at Elysian Retail Group, I have concentrated on translating complex multi-channel data into clear commercial actions. To streamline performance monitoring across digital and store channels, I architected weekly automated reporting dashboards in Tableau connected to Snowflake, which reduced manual report compilation by ten hours each week. This infrastructure enabled our commercial teams to assess customer segment profiles and marketing channel returns on demand.
Additionally, I have prioritised rigorous measurement to ensure marketing spend yields verifiable commercial returns. While evaluating seasonal promotional initiatives at Elysian Retail Group, I designed quasi-experimental holdout testing frameworks that improved return on marketing investment by 14 percent. Partnering closely with brand and acquisition teams, I also evaluate customer lifetime value models and churn risk indicators to ensure ongoing budget allocation aligns with sustained customer retention.
Merrion Commercial Group's commitment to robust marketing governance and clear commercial reporting closely matches my practical background. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience in attribution modelling, reporting automation, and testing frameworks can support your analytical objectives. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Declan Gallagher
