Before you start

Complete a saved base resume and copy the full job description. Include the title, responsibilities, required qualifications, and preferred skills rather than only a short summary.

Start tailoring

  1. Open Tailored Resumes or select Tailor resume on a resume card.
  2. Choose the base resume you want to adapt.
  3. Select Paste job description.
  4. Paste the complete posting text.
  5. Select Start tailoring and wait while Jobaria prepares the job details.
  6. Review the role context and the assistant's proposed plan.
  7. Choose whether to tailor the current resume or create a duplicate.
  8. Review each proposed change before accepting it.

Keep the result accurate

Prioritize relevant experience and vocabulary, but do not add skills, responsibilities, or results you cannot support. Tailoring should improve selection and wording, not create a fictional background.

Expected result

Jobaria creates or updates a resume associated with the target role. It appears under Tailored Resumes and remains editable before export.

Troubleshooting

  • If the base resume cannot be selected, complete its essential content and wait for saving to finish.
  • If the job description is too short, paste the complete posting rather than adding guessed requirements.
  • If suggestions overemphasize keywords, keep natural language and factual relevance.
