Ask for a focused improvement

1. Open a resume in the builder.
2. Open AI Assistant.
3. Identify the exact section or text you want to improve.
4. Ask for a specific outcome, such as “make this bullet more concise” or “strengthen this summary for product roles.”
5. Provide relevant facts or constraints that are not already in the resume.

Specific requests produce changes that are easier to evaluate than broad instructions such as “make everything better.”

Review the proposal

Compare the original and proposed text. Check that the rewrite:

• preserves the real employer, role, dates, tools, scope, and outcome;
• uses clear language without keyword repetition;
• matches your level of responsibility;
• remains consistent with the rest of the document.

Accept the change only after this review. You remain responsible for the final resume.

Troubleshooting

• If the assistant lacks context, include the target role, original text, and desired emphasis.
• If it proposes an unsupported claim, reject the proposal and explicitly state the correct fact.
