Lachlan Campbell
Junior Automation Tester | Playwright, Cypress & TypeScript
Veridian Cloud Systems
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Automation Tester position at Veridian Cloud Systems. With professional experience in building automated end-to-end regression suites, configuring API test runs within CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, I am keen to contribute to your web platform's quality assurance processes.
In my current role as a Junior Test Automation Engineer at StrataPulse Solutions, I develop and maintain automated regression suites using Playwright and TypeScript across core product modules. A significant part of my day-to-day workflow involves reviewing sprint acceptance criteria directly alongside software developers to design modular test cases early, which helps identify issues before deployment. In addition, I triage and document software defects in Jira with detailed reproducible steps, log extracts, and network payloads to streamline debugging for the development team.
My background also includes integrating automated API verification test collections using Postman and Newman into scheduled GitHub Actions pipelines. Previously, as a Graduate QA Analyst with Kitebyte Interactive, I authored automated UI validation scripts in Cypress for account registration and transactional flows across responsive web interfaces. Holding an ISTQB Foundation Level certification and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Queensland University of Technology, I focus on building maintainable, reusable automated checks that support reliable release cadences.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my practical testing background with Playwright, TypeScript, and pipeline integration aligns with the testing objectives at Veridian Cloud Systems. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Lachlan Campbell
