Robin Dahl
Chief Technology Officer | Distributed Systems, Cloud Architecture & Engineering Leadership
Vectis Mobility Systems
Dear Hiring Committee,
I am writing to express my interest in the CTO position at Vectis Mobility Systems. Having directed multi-disciplinary engineering organizations and modernized distributed platform architectures across European logistics and financial technology environments, I welcome the opportunity to guide your technical strategy and platform scaling initiatives.
In my current role as Chief Technology Officer at NordicGrid Logistics Platform, I direct a global technology organization of 85 software engineers, infrastructure specialists, and product architects while managing a 14M Euro annual infrastructure and tooling budget. During my tenure, I spearheaded the migration of legacy dispatch monolithic systems to event-driven microservices on AWS, reducing mean incident response time by 42%. Furthermore, by establishing dedicated platform engineering practices and internal developer portals, we cut cycle time from code commit to staging deployment from 4 days to 45 minutes.
Prior to NordicGrid, I served as VP of Engineering at ElbeFin Technologies, where I led departments of 45 engineers delivering cloud-native B2B payment gateway interfaces under BaFin regulatory compliance. In that position, I architected ISO 27001-certified data pipeline infrastructures handling 120 million monthly transactions with 99.99% availability, while instituting career development frameworks that lowered annual team attrition to under 8%. My focus remains on combining high-reliability distributed systems engineering with sound organizational governance.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background in architectural modernization and engineering leadership can support the strategic objectives of Vectis Mobility Systems. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Robin Dahl
