Julien Roche
Reliable and Safety-Oriented Delivery Driver | Light Commercial Vehicles
Alpina Logistique Express
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Delivery Driver position at Alpina Logistique Express. Having transported goods across the Lyon urban area and completed the Titre Professionnel Conducteur Livreur sur Véhicule Utilitaire Léger, I am eager to contribute my route experience, practical driving habits, and dependable delivery execution to your local distribution team.
In my current position as Courier Delivery Driver with Rhône Express Courses, I operate a 3.5-tonne light utility van to complete 55 to 70 B2B and B2C deliveries each day across Lyon and Villeurbanne. My daily routine begins with inspecting vehicle roadworthiness, including tire pressures, fluid levels, and cargo security. On the road, I record proof of delivery with handheld scanning devices and coordinate with dispatchers to bypass urban congestion, maintaining a 97% on-time delivery rate.
Previously, as a Warehouse Assistant and Relief Driver at SoliDrive Distribution, I assisted drivers with loading light commercial vans according to weight distribution safety standards and covered priority last-mile runs of up to 40 drops per shift during peak periods. Combined with practical training in defensive driving and urban navigation, this experience has reinforced my ability to secure cargo correctly, adhere to strict road safety regulations, and deliver goods accurately to customers.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my multi-drop delivery background and familiarity with the Lyon metropolitan area align with the operational requirements of Alpina Logistique Express.
Sincerely,
Julien Roche
