With a background centered on infrastructure investment, corporate strategy, and board governance across western Canada, I have dedicated my career to guiding complex capital assets through cyclical market environments and energy transitions. The opportunity to oversee fund deployment and portfolio strategy for your infrastructure platform aligns closely with my professional focus.
In my current role as Managing Director & Senior Partner at Highwood Infrastructure Partners, I direct fund deployment and executive governance across western Canadian energy infrastructure assets valued at 1.4 billion CAD. In this capacity, I have steered portfolio company boards through major decarbonization capital plans while maintaining average annualized return targets of 14 percent, and negotiated multi-party joint ventures alongside sovereign wealth co-investors. This experience in structuring institutional partnerships and balancing long-term returns with rigorous risk management directly supports Pembina Ridge Capital’s mandate to scale capital deployment across essential infrastructure.
Previously, as Managing Director of Private Equity at Chinook Crest Capital, I oversaw investment origination and execution across commercial energy transition and midstream services, structuring and closing seven buyout transactions representing 420 million CAD in invested equity capital. Furthermore, I led operational turnarounds across three platform companies to enhance operating margins by an average of 340 basis points, presenting comprehensive valuations and risk evaluations to the institutional limited partner advisory committee. My governance background, reinforced by an ICD.D designation and CFA charter, ensures a disciplined framework for capital stewardship and board alignment.
