Senior Project Manager | Enterprise Delivery & Transformation
Opal Horizon Capital
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Senior Project Manager position at Opal Horizon Capital. With an established background in directing complex enterprise workflow transformations and technology delivery within corporate financial environments, I welcome the opportunity to bring my governance standards, cross-functional leadership, and delivery discipline to your wealth modernisation programmes.
In my current role as Senior Project Manager at Vanguard Apex Solutions, I direct cross-functional programmes delivering cloud migrations and enterprise workflow transformations for tier-one financial clients, overseeing portfolios valued at up to AUD 14M. In this capacity, I lead a team of 8 project managers, business analysts, and iteration managers, establishing unified delivery governance across concurrent workstreams. Furthermore, by consolidating third-party vendor contracts across three parallel workstreams, I cut annual external procurement expenditure by 12% while consistently presenting progress and regulatory compliance milestones directly to client steering committees.
Prior to this, as Project Manager at Kallima Technology Partners, I managed end-to-end delivery of digital operations platforms and CRM integration projects with budgets ranging between AUD 2M and 6M. By implementing hybrid Agile-Waterfall delivery frameworks to align regulatory sign-offs with bi-weekly release cadences, I improved on-schedule milestone delivery by 18% and ensured financial variances remained within 4% of baselined forecasts across four successive financial years.
Opal Horizon Capital's emphasis on dependable programme execution and modernising core systems aligns directly with my delivery experience. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background in portfolio governance, stakeholder alignment, and operational transition can support your strategic objectives. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Claire Thornton
