Conor O'Callaghan
Spa Manager | Wellness Operations & Guest Experience Specialist
Loughlin Bay Resort & Spa
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Spa Manager position at Loughlin Bay Resort & Spa. With a comprehensive background directing thermal wellness facilities and managing multidisciplinary hospitality teams in Ireland, I welcome the opportunity to oversee your newly expanded wellness amenities and uphold Loughlin Bay's reputation for exceptional guest care.
In my current role as Spa Manager at Ardbracken Wellness Resort, I oversee daily operations across a 12-treatment-room thermal suite, hydrotherapy pool, and fitness centre with a team of 18 therapists and receptionists. Through continuous operational reviews and reconfigured scheduling, I improved therapist utilisation rates from 68% to 81% while simultaneously driving a 19% increase in treatment revenue via curated seasonal packages and partner brand collaborations. Balancing rigorous service standards with sound commercial discipline has enabled our facility to maintain peak guest satisfaction while managing operating budgets and premium retail stock efficiently.
Furthermore, during our major thermal suite modernisation project, I coordinated the phased refurbishment of hydrotherapy and sauna areas alongside engineering teams with zero unscheduled downtime during guest hours. Prior to this, as Assistant Spa Manager at Carrigmore Estate Hotel & Spa, I focused heavily on front-of-house operational flow, quality recovery, and team coaching across 12 therapy personnel. This combination of hands-on technical proficiency and facility coordination ensures I can maintain seamless day-to-day operations and high health and hygiene standards across your treatment rooms and thermal spaces.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my wellness management background and operational focus align with the goals of Loughlin Bay Resort & Spa. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Conor O'Callaghan
