Chloe Tremblay
Experienced Stock Clerk | Inventory Management & Backroom Logistics
Fraser Basin Outfitters
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Stock Clerk position at Fraser Basin Outfitters. With extensive experience in retail backroom receiving, inventory control, and floor replenishment in fast-paced Vancouver retail settings, I welcome the opportunity to support your inventory integrity and daily stock operations.
In my current role as Lead Stock Clerk at Pacific Crest Outfitters, I inspect bi-weekly freight shipments of outdoor apparel and equipment, matching pack lists against purchase orders with 99.4% accuracy. Working across a 14,000-square-foot stockroom, I operate electric pallet jacks and order pickers in strict adherence to WorkSafeBC safety regulations. Additionally, I coordinate replenishment schedules across five merchandise departments to maintain steady stock levels and conduct regular cycle counts using RF handheld scanners.
My background also includes identifying practical ways to streamline stockroom workflows. During our backroom storage optimization initiative, I reorganized racking configurations and labeling schemas, which cut pick times by 20% across high-velocity items and assisted our transition to digital scanner discrepancy logs. Combined with my prior experience processing vendor returns and managing planogram-aligned freight stocking at Harbourview Home Essentials, I am accustomed to maintaining orderly, safe, and efficient stockrooms.
I would appreciate the chance to discuss how my backroom experience, attention to order accuracy, and commitment to safe material handling can contribute to Fraser Basin Outfitters. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Chloe Tremblay
