Junior Glazier | Commercial & Residential Glass Installation
Fremantle Architectural Glazing
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Glazier position with Fremantle Architectural Glazing. Having recently completed my Certificate III in Glass and Glazing at North Metropolitan TAFE and transitioned into a junior glazier role with Karrinyup Architectural Glass, I am eager to contribute my site installation skills and strong safety commitment to your commercial and residential projects across Perth.
In my daily work, I carry out on-site measuring, cutting, and fitting of toughened, laminated, and double-glazed units in accordance with AS 1288 standards. My responsibilities include fabricating aluminium window assemblies, fitting commercial entrance doors, and applying structural silicones to guarantee watertight building envelopes. Through projects such as fitting frameless balustrades and pool fencing, I have developed solid proficiency in handling architectural panels with vacuum lifting gear and collaborating safely with fellow tradespeople to ensure precise alignment.
During my apprenticeship, I gained thorough exposure to site preparation, checking frame plumbness, and safely offloading oversized 12mm panels alongside senior glaziers. Holding a current White Card and Work Safely at Heights certification, I consistently adhere to safe operating practices on every job site, whether installing bespoke shower screens or commercial shopfronts.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my practical trade experience, technical knowledge of Australian standards, and reliable work ethic will support the ongoing work at Fremantle Architectural Glazing. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Riley Vance
