Chloe Tremblay
Housekeeper | Guest Room Attendant
Granville Sound Hotel
Dear Housekeeping Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Housekeeper position at Granville Sound Hotel. Having gained practical hospitality experience across guestrooms and boutique suites in Vancouver, I am eager to apply my background in room turnover, brand sanitation standards, and systematic quality inspections to support your daily operations.
In my current role as a Housekeeper at Pacific Crest Suites, I turn over an assigned section of 14 to 16 guest suites daily while adhering to multi-point quality inspection checklists. My responsibilities include stripping, disinfecting, and remaking beds with triple-sheeting techniques, as well as cleaning bathrooms and high-touch fixtures using safe chemical dilution methods under WHMIS standards. Additionally, I promptly record maintenance deficiencies and log guest items left behind through our mobile dispatch system to keep suites in guest-ready condition.
Prior to this, I worked as a Room Attendant at Harbour Mist Lodge, where I prepared and restocked 12 standard guestrooms per shift during peak summer seasons while meeting turnaround timeframes. I maintained organized housekeeping carts stocked with microfiber cloths, personal protective equipment, and fresh linens, and assisted with corridor cleaning and laundry sorting on scheduled maintenance days. This practical experience is backed by my Certificate in Hospitality Operations from Vancouver Community College and active WHMIS 2015 certification.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my hands-on cleaning experience, attention to hygiene standards, and reliable work ethic will contribute to the high service standards at Granville Sound Hotel. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Chloe Tremblay
