Mathieu Vasseur
Certified Junior Plumber | Sanitary Installation & Pipefitting Specialist
Caluire Chauffage & Sanitaire
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Plumber position with Caluire Chauffage & Sanitaire. Having completed my vocational training with a CAP and a Brevet Professionnel in sanitary and climate installation engineering, I have developed solid field experience across residential renovation and maintenance sites in the Lyon urban area. I welcome the opportunity to bring my practical plumbing skills, commitment to safety, and direct client care to your residential installation team.
In my current work with Brotteaux Fluides & Sanitaire, I carry out rough-in and finish plumbing for residential renovations, preparing and assembling copper and multilayer tubing in strict compliance with French DTU 60.1 specifications. A substantial portion of my routine work involves modernizing domestic systems; to date, I have replaced more than 35 aging electric storage water heaters with high-efficiency instantaneous and thermodynamic units. In addition, I use pressure gauges and endoscope inspection cameras to locate water leaks and clear domestic drainage blockages quickly and accurately.
During my earlier apprenticeship at Guillotière Rénovation Urbaine, I gained thorough experience in conducting hydrostatic pressure tests to ensure system seal integrity prior to wall closure and pre-assembling sanitary fixtures in the workshop. I also hold BS-B0 electrical safety and ISO 13585 copper brazing credentials, allowing me to execute hot water heater connections and pipework reliably and autonomously. I take pride in leaving clean work sites and communicating transparently with homeowners regarding needed repairs.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my technical skills and practical installation background align with your upcoming residential projects. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Mathieu Vasseur
