Stefan Lindner
Senior Process Engineer | Plant Optimization & Chemical Engineering
Veralis Chemical Engineering GmbH
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Process Engineer position at Veralis Chemical Engineering GmbH. With an established background in continuous chemical manufacturing, process simulation, and plant debottlenecking, I welcome the opportunity to contribute to your engineering operations and support the ongoing optimization of your production units.
In my current role as Lead Process Engineer at RheinChem Synthetics GmbH, I lead continuous process optimization for three large-scale specialty polymer synthesis trains with an annual throughput exceeding 120,000 metric tons. My work focuses on rigorous optimization and plant reliability, including spearheading a heat integration retrofit that lowered steam consumption by 14 percent and cut operational carbon emissions across the site. In addition, I steer process hazard analyses (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) assessments across capital expenditure projects totaling 18 million euros.
During my time at AlveoTech Process Solutions, I modeled steady-state and dynamic plant operations in Aspen Plus to eliminate column hydraulic instabilities and improve product purity to 99.8 percent. I also standardized piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) review procedures, reducing field engineering change notices by 22 percent. Applying systematic thermodynamic analysis and functional safety standards ensures that technical modifications deliver measurable gains in throughput and operational integrity.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my background in chemical plant optimization, simulation, and process safety management aligns with the goals of Veralis Chemical Engineering GmbH. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Stefan Lindner
