Callum Wright
QA Tester | Manual & API Testing | Regression & Integration Specialist
Caldervale Digital Systems
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the QA Tester position at Caldervale Digital Systems. With a strong background in manual functional verification, API testing, and Agile release cycles across enterprise SaaS and web platforms, I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the stability and reliability of your software products.
In my current role as a QA Tester at NorthForge Digital Solutions, I plan and execute manual functional, integration, and regression test suites for multi-tenant enterprise SaaS applications. Working closely with software engineers and product owners within fortnightly Scrum sprints, I help define clear acceptance criteria and ensure comprehensive test coverage for user stories before deployment. In addition, I design and maintain Postman verification workflows to validate JSON schemas, response latency, and HTTP status codes, while systematically logging and triaging defects through Jira across staging and pre-production environments.
Prior to this, as a Junior QA Analyst at Pennine Retail Logistics Systems, I executed test scenarios across warehouse management and inventory tracking applications. In that role, I coordinated weekly regression cycles for point-of-sale integrations to reduce patch rollbacks and conducted end-to-end user journey testing alongside business analysts. This practical foundation, reinforced by my ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level (Test Analyst) qualification, enables me to approach testing with systematic rigor and thorough defect documentation.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my hands-on testing experience and collaborative approach can support Caldervale Digital Systems in delivering dependable software releases. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Yours sincerely,
Callum Wright
