Marc Steiner
Senior Teacher Assistant & Inclusive Classroom Specialist
Seequai Bilingual Primary School
Dear Hiring Committee,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Teacher Assistant position at Seequai Bilingual Primary School. With a background supporting inclusive primary classrooms and multilingual learners across Zurich, I welcome the opportunity to assist your teaching staff in fostering an organized, engaging, and supportive learning environment for every child.
In my current role as Senior Teacher Assistant at Lindenhof Bilingual Primary Campus, I co-facilitate daily lessons across four inclusive classrooms and coordinate individualized education plan accommodations alongside lead instructors to support 14 neurodivergent pupils. Through implementing structured sensory breaks and visual task boards, I helped reduce classroom disruptions during unstructured periods, ensuring students remain focused and comfortable throughout the day. I also regularly mentor junior classroom aides on behavioral de-escalation protocols and formative observational logs to maintain consistent classroom support.
Previously, at Albisblick Primary School, I delivered one-to-one and small-group instructional support in German and English, assisting teachers with guided reading stations and tracking student fluency benchmarks. In addition to preparing differentiated learning aids and tactile manipulatives, I collaborated with teachers and therapists to create visual communication toolkits that assist emergent learners. I look forward to bringing this collaborative, practical approach to Seequai Bilingual Primary School to assist your lead educators and reinforce student progress.
Sincerely,
Marc Steiner
