I am writing to express my interest in the Marriage & Family Therapist position at De Dommel Relational Care Centre. With extensive clinical practice in systemic therapy and couples counseling across outpatient and community healthcare settings in North Brabant, I welcome the opportunity to contribute evidence-informed relational interventions to your multidisciplinary clinical team.
At Lichtstad Systemic Therapy Practice, I maintain a weekly caseload of 22 client systems presenting with chronic relational conflict, infidelity, and co-parenting dilemmas. In this role, I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) frameworks with contextual family therapy approaches to repair attachment injuries and de-escalate entrenched communication impasses. Additionally, I facilitate biweekly multi-family therapy groups to support families navigating neurodivergent diagnoses in adolescents, while conducting clinical case consultations with general practice mental health nurses (POH-GGZ).
My earlier work at Kempen Mental Health Network and Brabant Youth and Family Care Institute further developed my competence in conducting comprehensive systemic diagnostic evaluations and collaborating with local youth care agencies (Jeugdzorg) and municipal social teams (wijkteams). This experience aligns with your centre's focus on bridging outpatient therapy and community support networks. Through initiatives such as co-designing the Intercultural Partnership Resilience Initiative, I have also supported diverse couples in navigating cultural transitions and communication adaptations.
