Kim Schneider
Junior Respiratory Therapist | Cardiorespiratory Care & Non-Invasive Ventilation
Alpenblick Lungenzentrum
Dear Hiring Team,
I am writing to express my interest in the Respiratory Therapist position at Alpenblick Lungenzentrum. With a background in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and direct clinical experience delivering non-invasive ventilatory support and diagnostic assessments in acute Swiss inpatient environments, I welcome the opportunity to contribute to your specialized pulmonary care team.
In my current role at Aarewald Spitalzentrum, I manage non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) therapy for adult patients across a 16-bed pulmonary ward and intermediate care unit. Working closely with pulmonologists and nursing staff during daily multidisciplinary rounds, I contribute to the evaluation of ventilatory parameters and patient weaning plans. Additionally, my responsibilities include conducting diagnostic spirometry, fractional exhaled nitric oxide measurements, and arterial blood gas sampling in adherence to clinical protocols.
Complementing this acute experience, my earlier internship at Klinik Bernerhoehe allowed me to administer nebulized bronchodilator treatments, guide patients through positive expiratory pressure therapies, and handle the calibration and maintenance of pulmonary diagnostic sensors and breathing circuits. Through my continuous work with post-surgical and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients, I prioritize careful therapeutic delivery, patient comfort, and precise clinical documentation.
Alpenblick Lungenzentrum's structured focus on integrated inpatient respiratory management aligns closely with my clinical practice. I look forward to discussing how my experience with non-invasive ventilation protocols and bedside pulmonary diagnostics can support your care team. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Kim Schneider
