As a competitive student athlete currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Movement and Sports Sciences at the University of Geneva, I have developed practical skills in sports administration, athletic facility scheduling, and track meet operations. My background in supporting daily training sessions and competitive events aligns directly with the operational needs of your athletic programs.
In my current position as Student Athletics Coordinator at Léman Track & Field Center, I coordinate weekly practice schedules and lane reservations for 8 youth training groups comprising more than 120 athletes. My responsibilities include inspecting track surfaces, timing gates, and competition gear to maintain strict safety standards, as well as assisting head coaches during multi-club meets by managing athlete check-ins, heat sheets, and digital scoring entries. Additionally, I designed and introduced a bilingual equipment checkout sheet for varsity operations that reduced lost athletic training gear by 30% over two semesters across four training sites.
My operational background is further reinforced by my work as an Event Operations Intern with the Geneva Lakefront Sports Initiative. During an annual 10k road race, I assisted with logistical preparations, distributed bib numbers and safety packs to 450 runners, and addressed route and safety inquiries in both French and English. Holding certifications as a Youth and Sport (J+S) Track and Field Leader and a BLS-AED-SRC provider, I am well accustomed to upholding safety protocols and working cooperatively alongside coaching staff in structured sports environments.
