In my current role as a Junior Studio Photographer with Rideau Light Media, I assist lead photographers on commercial product and portrait assignments, managing continuous and strobe lighting configurations across studio and field locations. I calibrate cameras and tethered digital workstations using Capture One Pro to facilitate real-time image review with clients and art directors, while executing batch color adjustments and retouching in Adobe Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. My responsibilities also include maintaining an organized archive of over 40,000 project files with standardized metadata, building on earlier technical support experience at ByWard Creative Works where I handled gear preparation and backup ingestion for up to 1,200 RAW frames per production day.
Complementing my studio background, I photographed 24 local independent tradespeople in their workshop environments for the Artisans of the Valley project series, balancing portable strobes with ambient light and preparing color-proofed files for print and web galleries. Combined with my diploma training in photography at Algonquin College, these experiences have solidified my disciplined approach to equipment calibration, set workflow, and color-accurate image delivery.
